How does List for Kids work?
It's simple. When you list your home for sale with a List for Kids Listing Partner, a portion of the compensation received by the Listing Partner will go to a charity of your choice.
For example, if you sell your home for $300,000 and you have agreed to pay the listing real estate broker a commission equal to 3% of the sales price, or $9,000, a portion of this commission will be classified as a charitable contribution and will paid to a charity of your choice. This charitable contribution will be documented on the HUD-1 settlement statement.
